Applying for a place
Choosing your child's school is a big decision and visiting schools is the best way to know that you are choosing the right school for your child.
If your child is due to start school in September 2025, we would like to invite you to visit St Finian's to look around our school with the Headteacher, Anna Jarratt or a member of our Senior Leadership Team (SLT). We would be particularly proud to show you our newly extended EYFS and Year 1 outdoor learning environment which supports our values for Early Years learning. During the tour there will be an opportunity to ask us any questions you may have and find out more about our school vision and ethos.
Tour times and days vary, so please phone or email our school secretary Mrs Emma Guy on 01635 865925 or office@stfinians.w-berks.sch.uk if you would like to visit us. In the meantime, you may wish to visit our EYFS area of the website which can be found under 'Curriculum' tab or watch our virtual tour which can be found here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=bfzEGxKyFgc&feature=youtu.be
Our admissions process is managed by West Berkshire Council, please visit their website at www.westberks.gov.uk for more information. As a voluntary aided school, we ask that you also complete our supplementary application form which can be downloaded below.
You can find more information about the admissions process in our current admissions policy which can be found under our policy section on the website. To note, our Reception PAN has increased from 2023/24 to 30 pupils.
