Curriculum

The curriculum is divided into three stages, the Foundation Stage, based on the delivery of Early Learning Goals, Key stage One and Key stage Two based on delivery of the National Curriculum. Please find our latest Curriculum Statement here.

The school’s aim is to retain a broad, balanced and creative curriculum, giving full allocation of time to all Foundation Subjects discretely or through themes, whilst ensuring high standards in Literacy and Numeracy.

Details of the curriculum will be provided in termly curriculum information leaflets (please look under your child's class tab for their latest curriculum leaflet).

Actual curriculum time is calculated as:                   

Key Stage 1:  21 hours 35 minutes per week

Key Stage 2:  23 hours 35 minutes per week
