By Year 6, children are beginning to reach a level of maturity and develop a learning skillset that fully prepares them for a successful journey onwards into secondary school. Throughout this landmark year, they have the opportunity to reflect with pride on their primary school achievements and focus on a transition curriculum, designed to get them ready for their next steps in the fullest sense. They take on important leadership positions across the school, acting as role models to their younger peers (eco-council, prayer leaders & play leaders). Whilst it is an exciting year, teachers are there to support and manage any worries caused by anticipation of what lies ahead in the years beyond. The residential trip, end of year play and busy calendar of celebrations make it a year to remember!
