Running Heroes! This photo tells two different stories: All the children look happy, fit, pleased with themselves and full of beans – 3 of these pupils have just completed something they find easy and the remaining two children do not find running an easy task – they are beginning to enjoy it. But they have a long way to go before it becomes easy.

As part of the Year 4 WW2 Topic, Patrick drew on his personal experiences, knowledge and understanding to write this thoughtful diary entry about living through the blitz.

Olivia in Year 4 designed and created this multi coloured print, using inspiration from designers William Morris and Zandra Rhodes. She carefully chose a simple but effective design which showcased her ideas, patterns and colours.
